Dr. Erik Brower and his wife, Dana Brower M.S.Ed., are the founders of Innate Chiropractic. Dana Brower is the Office Manager at Innate. Dana attended SUNY Stony Brook and attained her Master’s in education at Emory University. Dr. Erik grew up in a small rural town of the Catskills region in NY. While studying as a biology major at SUNY Oswego, Dr. Erik was uncertain of his future profession until he experienced the amazing results of chiropractic care. Dr. Erik graduated, cum laude, from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. His mission in life is to help people through neurologically based chiropractic care. Dr. Erik attributes the foundation of Innate Chiropractic to his internship that he attained at one of the largest chiropractic offices in the southeast, where he was able to witness amazing results over and over again. It was there that his passion and future mission became aligned. Dr. Erik knew wherever he and Dana were going to open an office, he would mirror it after his mentorship experience.
Today, Dr. Erik and Dana have two children that they love spending their time with. Dana and Dr. Erik are aligned in their passion to serve the future of chiropractic, and pay it forward to chiropractic students who they mentor. Dr. Erik travels between 1-3 weekends a month, speaking all over the country about health and healing, using Torque Release Technique, and to help other chiropractors become their very best to make a bigger impact in their communities. For his contributions to the profession, in 2016 Dr. Erik was named “Young Alumni of the Year” by his Alma Matter, Life University.
Dr. Tyler Wilt is a central Pennsylvania native with a passion for helping others express their full potential through neurologically based chiropractic care. He completed his undergraduate studies from Millersville University, where he also participated in many different sports and activities. Dr. Tyler is a board certified doctor of chiropractic who is excited to share his knowledge of how the body heals while utilizing the most advanced techniques.During his time at Life University, in Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Tyler received extensive training specializing in prenatal and pediatric care, nutrition, and an overall natural approach to healing. His true passion comes from working with children and families – being able to provide hope for those seeking answers to their health concerns. In his spare time, Dr. Tyler enjoys staying physically active, mountain bike riding, watching sports, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. He is excited to be a part of the Innate team and spread the message of health and healing to the communities throughout the Hudson Valley.
Dr. Joe Albarelli is a Rockland County native. He makes his knowledge and passion for neurologically-based chiropractic care known throughout the office. He always knew he wanted to be in the health field, as he studied Human Biology at SUNY Albany. Growing up with vast digestive issues, his quality of life was drastically inhibited until he came under regular chiropractic care himself. From that point on, Dr. Joe decided to devote his life to educating others about the tremendous benefits of this extraordinary profession. He is a nationally board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic with extensive training and certification in the most modern techniques.
During his time at Life University, College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Joe received extensive training in pediatric, prenatal, and athletic care. His true passion is focused on families, shedding light on their health concerns and wellness. Dr. Joe enjoys sports and outdoor activities, such as hiking and swimming. He’s excited to be a part of the Innate Team and provide neurologically-based chiropractic education and care throughout the Hudson Valley!
Dr. Brittany Wetzel is a Charleston, South Carolina native whose own life changing Chiropractic testimony instilled a passion and purpose to serve others through chiropractic. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and then moved to Dallas, TX to attend Parker University where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Through her chiropractic journey Dr. Brittany found her love for serving growing families; especially in prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care. She has training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is Webster Technique Certified. She is also trained through Sacred Doula as a Birth Doula to better support moms during their transition to parenthood.
Supporting women from preconception to postpartum and beyond holds a special place in Dr. Brittany’s heart, as well as empowering others to take control of their health by living a lifestyle that honors their innate ability to heal.
Dr. Preston Cook is a small-town Oklahoman and a third generation Doctor of Chiropractic. Born and raised under chiropractic care, Dr. Preston’s upbringing is a great example of his earnest mission for families today: creating healthy, happy, and highly functioning lives from the very start. Following in the family footsteps, Dr. Preston attended the University of Oklahoma with studies in biology with intent to pursue the health care profession. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Preston attended Parker University Chiropractic College in Dallas, TX, where he developed further passion and training to care for families, athletes, and overall sports performance. He has served on multiple chiropractic mission trips, where he provided chiropractic care to the people of El Salvador. Chiropractic, family, and physical activity are his passions, but in his down time he enjoys hiking, reading, and staying up to date on all things superheroes. Dr. Preston is committed to Innate’s mission and looks forward to sharing his small-town servant’s heart with the wonderful community of the Hudson Valley.
